Some doors are meant to stay hidden, until the right children find them.
Pip's Secret Door
A magical new chapter book for ages 5–8 filled with hidden doors, mysterious letters, secret woods, and the kind of adventure that helps children believe there is magic in the world if you know where to look.
Faith believes in fairies.
Harris is not so sure.
When the siblings discover a tiny red door hidden in the bark of an old oak tree, everything begins to change.
Letters appear, a small window glows, and the woods begin to feel full of wonder.
As Faith and Harris learn to care for something magical, they discover that believing is not about being brave or clever, it is about being kind, curious, and ready to notice the smallest things.
Sometimes, that is when magic finds you first.

Meet the characters
Faith is curious, imaginative, and determined to prove that there is more to the world than most people realise. She sees magic where others see ordinary things and is always dreaming up new adventures, clues, and discoveries. Although she and Harris love winding each other up like most siblings, Faith cares deeply about the people around her and follows her instincts even when nobody else quite understands.

Harris
Harris might pretend he doesn’t believe in fairies, but deep down he hopes there could be something magical hidden in the woods after all. Full of energy, drawings, questions, and cautious bravery, he slowly begins to realise that believing in something extraordinary is not silly at all. His humour, honesty, and loyal nature make him impossible not to love.

Hello, my name is Fiona.
I believe every child, and every parent, deserves to believe in their own magic.
I grew up in the quiet beauty a small Scottish village filled with fresh air, big skies, and the kind of peaceful freedom and adventure that shapes a child’s spirit.

But like many of us, I grew up and slowly traded that inner spark for the expectations of others. I dimmed pieces of myself to fit the mould. It wasn’t until I became a mother, surrounded by other parents and children, that something in me stirred again. I began to notice how many children — including my own, at times — struggled to believe in themselves. I recognised the look in their eyes. I had been that child too.
In my own search for something more grounded and meaningful, I discovered the quiet truth that changed everything: our thoughts and feelings shape how we experience the world.
When we speak to ourselves with kindness, belief, and more love, the world around us starts to shift, too. I changed the way I thought, and my feelings and moods followed. Slowly, beautifully, I saw that light grow brighter in my children as well.
My books and resources plant seeds of confidence, kindness, and quiet magic, not just for the next generation, but for the ones guiding them. Because I believe in raising children who know their worth, and in helping adults remember: you are enough, and everything, all at once.
