I offer assemblies and workshops for children in nursery and primary schools, based on the following books:
Meeting Pip is a perfect accompaniment and stimulus to forest school lessons, encouraging the use of imagination and outdoor play. Pip supports model letter writing topics in class and the joy of corresponding with pen and paper. It compliments topics linked to the environment, friendship, letter writing, and imagination.
“It's thrilling to think that fairies might be real, and this lovely, whimsical read makes the idea feel even more plausible. I can imagine it inspiring lots of play and creativity as children use it as a springboard to write their own fairy letters and construct enchanting places for them to reside.
For young readers who love fairies, this book will be a delight. For those who aren't sure about the idea of fairies, it might just change their mind! Either way, it will make a wonderful addition to any child's library.”

Franco and the Green Light Fairy is an ideal springboard for the Early Years curriculum, with strong messages linked to social and emotional health, wellbeing, and the power of a growth mindset, ending with an aspirational (and humorous) line to encourage children to dream big. It complements topics such as transport, travel, and road safety.
“A delightful children’s book with illustrations that leap off the page, bringing the words to life.
In it a mother takes the opportunity of her child’s frustration, to change it into a positive learning experience. I enjoyed reading this with my grandchildren, the 6 year old read it confidently and the 3 year old enjoyed listening. Opened up some discussion about the main theme of the book.”

Felix’s Favourite Day is a model foundation for the power of a growth mindset for the Early Years curriculum. A gentle rhyming book for young readers, with an aspiring (and unexpected) conclusion, complimenting topics such as owning a pet, animal welfare, patience, and following your dreams.

“A gorgeous rhyming story, beautifully illustrated by @johannabruyer which had my class giggling away at the end! I know this will be a popular one in our school library.”
